About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Shipping Crewing Manager to lead our crewing operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of experience in the shipping industry, with a minimum of 10 years in a managerial role. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a strategic leader with comprehensive knowledge of tanker, bulk, and gas fleets to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of crew members across our tanker, bulk, and gas fleets.
2. Develop and implement effective crewing strategies to optimize crew performance and ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies.
3. Manage budgeting and control related to crewing operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
4. Participate in strategic planning to support management decisions on business operations, development, and fleet expansion.
5. Maintain relationships with crewing agencies, maritime institutions, and other stakeholders to attract top talent.
6. Lead and mentor a team of crewing professionals, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
7. Monitor and evaluate crew performance, addressing issues related to manning, training, or retention.
8. Ensure all crew documentation and certifications are current and compliant with industry standards such as IMO policies and STCW standards.
9. Collaborate with operations and safety departments to align crewing strategies with overall business objectives.
10. Minimum of 20 years of experience in the shipping industry, with at least 10 in a managerial capacity.
11. Proven expertise in managing tanker, bulk, and gas fleet operations.
12. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to develop high-performing teams.
13. Deep understanding of maritime regulations, crew management systems, and crewing lifecycle processes.
14. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship building at all organizational levels.
15. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to industry changes.
