Job description

As a Partnerships Manager at talabat UAE, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategic partnerships across both B2B and B2C verticals. Your role will involve end-to-end project management from conceptualization to ensuring that partnerships align with business objectives, attract new customers, and strengthen talabat's brand presence.

This role requires a dynamic strategic thinker with a passion for partnerships, innovation, and brand building. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for bringing brands and people together, this is the role for you! You will oversee local partnerships, support regional initiatives, and drive creative out-of-the-box collaborations for the UAE.

What's On Your Plate
  1. Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities across corporate entities, retailers, property developers, hospitality sectors, airlines, FMCG, telecom, and banking.
  2. Build talabat's B2B partnership offering based on industry insights and business potential, identifying key growth opportunities.
  3. Maintain a continuous pipeline of strategic partners, proactively identifying revenue-generating opportunities.
  4. Lead partnership acquisitions through cold calling, networking, and inbound leads, aiming to build long-term strategic relationships.
  5. Work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless alignment with business objectives.
  6. Manage the day-to-day operations of B2B and B2C partnership initiatives, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to amplify partnership visibility and maximize their effectiveness.
  8. Manage partnerships from inception to operational excellence, tracking, analyzing, and refining partnership performance to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with commercial terms.
  9. Provide ongoing feedback to internal and external stakeholders regarding partnership performance and process improvements.
  10. Support offline activations that bring talabat's brand to life through strategic partnerships.
  11. Collaborate with restaurant partners, chefs, and retail brands to create innovative collaborations (e.g., experiential activations) and drive brand storytelling and engagement.
Qualifications

What Did We Order

  • 6 years of experience in B2B business development or strategic partnerships, preferably within ecommerce, tech, or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, successfully closing commercially viable deals.
  • Experience in marketing or related fields focusing on developing strategic proposals is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills, delivering large cross-functional initiatives on time, ideally on mobile platforms or ecommerce.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset, using insights to support business cases and strategic decisions.
  • Highly resourceful and solutions-oriented, able to navigate challenges and drive results with limited resources.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (both written and verbal), ensuring professional representation across internal and external engagements.
  • Detail-oriented, results-driven, and proactive, thriving in fast-paced and uncertain environments.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
