Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the Authorised Stockage List (ASL) for all stores.
- Review the Annual Service Plan (ASP) spares requirements and facilitate the preparation of the annual maintenance plan.
- Assist in identifying, implementing, and monitoring performance metrics to ensure KPIs are attained or exceeded.
- Ensure storage and disposal of hazardous materials comply with environmental directives.
- Perform quality work as part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program.
- Provide input on strategic and tactical direction, coaching, and development of junior managers and technical staff.
- Use management reports to identify negative trends and streamline the Supply and Materials process.
- Facilitate continuous improvement actions and LEAN techniques to enhance departmental performance.
- Contribute to the annual budget, and monitor expenditures.
- Prepare for audits, review, and implement required actions with Supply and Materials Department staff.
- Review and update Department policies, procedures, and practices annually.
- Ensure compliance with all contract requirements.
- Identify and meet training and development needs of department employees.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, hazardous material storage, and property accountability in stores.
- Ensure tools, test equipment, and high-value property are maintained, inventoried, and safeguarded.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all company documents.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Director, Supply and Material.
Experience and Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of eight to ten years managing a team in logistics or supply operations.
- Military and / or automotive experience is advantageous.
- Experience with CMMS like MAXIMO, SAP preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and ISO methodologies in a supply setting is an advantage.
Key Skills :
- Strong data analysis and strategic planning skills are required.
- Proven people and project management skills are advantageous.
- Experience managing multiple warehouse activities preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required.
