Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the Authorised Stockage List (ASL) for all stores.
• Review the Annual Service Plan (ASP) spares requirements and facilitate the preparation of the annual maintenance plan.
• Assist in identifying, implementing, and monitoring performance metrics to ensure KPIs are attained or exceeded.
• Ensure storage and disposal of hazardous materials comply with environmental directives.
• Perform quality work as part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program.
• Provide input on strategic and tactical direction, coaching, and development of junior managers and technical staff.
• Use management reports to identify negative trends and streamline the Supply and Materials process.
• Facilitate continuous improvement actions and LEAN techniques to enhance departmental performance.
• Contribute to the annual budget, and monitor expenditures.
• Prepare for audits, review, and implement required actions with Supply and Materials Department staff.
• Review and update Department policies, procedures, and practices annually.
• Ensure compliance with all contract requirements.
• Identify and meet training and development needs of department employees.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, hazardous material storage, and property accountability in stores.
• Ensure tools, test equipment, and high-value property are maintained, inventoried, and safeguarded.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all company documents.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director, Supply and Material.

Experience and Education :

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of eight to ten years managing a team in logistics or supply operations.
• Military and / or automotive experience is advantageous.
• Experience with CMMS like MAXIMO, SAP preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and ISO methodologies in a supply setting is an advantage.

Key Skills :

• Strong data analysis and strategic planning skills are required.
• Proven people and project management skills are advantageous.
• Experience managing multiple warehouse activities preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required.
