Job Description: Bar / Restaurant Waiter / Waitress

We aim to create memorable restaurant and bar experiences through delicious dishes, fine dining, and an exquisite ambiance. We are seeking a confident Waiter / Waitress who can deliver unforgettable experiences with a warm welcome, inspired recommendations, and seamless service from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Taking food and beverage orders from guests and delivering food promptly after preparation.
  2. Providing immediate attention to guests upon seating.
  3. Preparing tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
  4. Upselling additional products when appropriate.
  5. Ensuring each guest receives full attention and the best possible care.
  6. Staying informed about the sales program, promotions, and novelties.
  7. Maintaining good communication with bar staff and building a disciplined, harmonious team, especially in following standard procedures for beverage preparation, service, billing, cashiering, and cleaning.
  8. Performing special duties and projects as assigned by the restaurant manager.
  9. Adhering to local food hygiene and HACCP guidelines as per Dubai Municipality.

Additional requirements include:

  • The ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg), involving bending and kneeling.
  • Good reading, writing, and basic math skills.
  • Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Compliance with local laws on food handling and alcohol service, including being of legal age and fluent in the local language.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a warm, welcoming, and approachable demeanor.

Other key aspects:

  • Providing a warm welcome to guests and acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests.
  • Managing guest bookings, payments, and ensuring a swift check-in and check-out process.
  • Anticipating guest needs and offering tailored recommendations.
  • Acting as a trusted contact for guests, assisting with billing issues and restaurant suggestions.

Language Proficiency: Ability to communicate effectively with Russian-speaking guests to enhance their experience.
