Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Manager - Technical Services. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

• Maximize Total Hourly Ride Capacity (THRC) for all equipment within the park.
• Ensure efficient planning and execution of preventive maintenance and annual testing programs.
• Ensure regular maintenance of attractions and facilities to control costs, ensure safety, and minimize downtime.
• Provide leadership and direction in rides maintenance, facilities maintenance, landscape, logistics, and model shop.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Liaise with manufacturers and vendors to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Oversee the design, repair, and maintenance of rides, facility infrastructure, and attractions.
• Prepare and manage technical budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and resource optimization.
• Oversee technical projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Evaluates general construction to achieve parks high standards for quality and safety. Identifies deviations from plans and specifications and resolves matter to ensure the work of contractors is in substantial conformance.
• Managers are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their Business units, in line with the Group Policy (HS001). In particular, they must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out and that safe working procedures are in place at all locations within their remits and that all employees under their management are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it.

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• Bachelor's degree in related Engineering field.
• Certifications in WHSE, OHSA, Risk Management, or equivalent (preferred).
• 7-8 years in theme park technical services or equivalent environment.
• 5+ years in facilities management, maintenance of ride at managerial level
• Knowledge of budgeting and scheduling of facility maintenance are required
• Strong knowledge of I.T systems, system controllers, and Microsoft office
