Job description

Supporting the RDOS for commercial focus activities at regional level alongside other commercial partners. Develop plans to implement regional and global initiatives with the hotel sales and GC&E teams.

Support opening and ramp-up plans for new hotels and conversions.

Develop initiatives and implement key account management practices to increase Hilton's market power and adapt to customer buying preferences.

Support in developing the right Account Plans for hotel teams.

Focus on developing demand generation activities for GC&E teams and support GC&E team structures.

Annually identify key retention and acquisition accounts for each hotel.

Help evaluate each hotel's sales situation in the region, including strengths, weaknesses, market opportunities, threats, target segments, and accounts. Assist in driving individual action plans for improved sales performance.

Ensure proper use of systems and tools for opportunity response and referral in hotels.

Develop compelling propositions to maximize participation in initiatives.

Collaborate with RDOS to validate the sales component of key hotel revenue proposals.

Work with RDOS to optimize participation in key tradeshows and sales weeks.

Assist the Regional Commercial Director and RDOS AP with project-related tasks for the region.

Support the implementation and review of best practices, and analyze results of global and regional sales initiatives.

Review GC&E proposals and utilize BDRC insights to enhance the customer journey.

Directing Activities 20%

Enhance market coverage by building strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers in top regional accounts and local tourist authorities.

Maintain strong personal relationships with HWS from all key source markets.

Promote the use of Hilton sales tools and processes for demand generation and conversion.

Participate in key hotel Commercial Reviews.

Guide the execution of the property's sales and GCE Sales functions, supporting hotels in achieving their budget objectives.

Lead sales & GCE sales performance review calls for key hotels.

Follow up on action plans post-review.

Ensure compliance with Hilton legal and policies, and uphold high standards of representation.

People Activities 25%

Identify and develop sales talent within the region for future roles.

Ensure effective recruitment, induction, training, and development processes for sales and G&E teams.

Encourage regional and inter-hotel movement of sales team members.

Support succession planning for senior sales and G&E roles.

Act as a coach and mentor for sales and G&E teams and leaders.

Ensure all team members are trained and equipped to sell Hilton brands locally, nationally, and globally.

Assist with the SIP process and ensure clear revenue targets for team members.

Conduct regular performance reviews, recognizing successes and addressing issues promptly.

Provide ongoing skills and product training in line with Hilton's global programs.

Controlling Activities 20%

Proactively seek new business sources and opportunities.

Implement and monitor sales incentive plans and programs.

Contribute to hotel forecasting and analyze account production to inform rate strategies.

Support the implementation of pre-opening sales plans and budgets for new hotels.

Ensure systems are in place to track production across sales and G&E teams.

Lead demand generation efforts through the SSSO team.
