We are seeking a driven Director, Project Management to oversee multiple Data Center projects for a top technology client. This client-facing role involves managing complex project aspects such as scope, planning, budget, execution, multi-project resource management, and project closure.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading and managing multiple engineering and construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Overseeing all project management aspects including scope, planning, budget, execution, resource allocation, and closure.
3. Preparing, reviewing, and managing RFIs, RFPs, and submittals for project bids.
4. Developing and maintaining risk registers, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
5. Conducting daily follow-ups with project managers to monitor progress and address issues.
6. Communicating regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve concerns.
7. Managing project budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and project completion within budget.
8. Ensuring compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
9. Managing permits and regulatory approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
10. Overseeing BIM processes and coordinating with project teams for effective data management.
11. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
12. Leading and mentoring a team of project managers, supporting their development.
13. Reporting on project performance to senior management, highlighting progress and risks.
14. Utilizing project management tools to track and document activities.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 20+ years of experience in construction project management, particularly in US construction.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and industry standards.
• Proven leadership in managing project teams.
• Experience with RFP processes, risk management, and project software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Preferred:

• Master’s Degree in Construction Management.
• Experience with Earned Value Management.
• Membership in PMI or similar organizations.
• PMP certification.
• Experience in data center development and construction.
