Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-centric Digital Product Manager to lead the development and management of our primary digital product for our upcoming casino resort in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, preferably within the hospitality or online travel booking sectors, and a deep understanding of guest-facing digital experiences. This role requires exceptional communication skills to manage internal stakeholders across various departments and the ability to adapt off-the-shelf products to meet our unique business needs. Essential Duties
- Product Development and Management:- Oversee the entire lifecycle of our primary digital product, from conceptualization to launch and beyond
- Adapt and customize off-the-shelf solutions to align with the resort's specific requirements and guest expectations
- Develop and manage the product roadmap, setting and prioritizing goals in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Ensure all product decisions prioritize and enhance the guest experience
- Vendor Management:- Coordinate the onboarding and integration of vendors relevant to the primary digital product, including major partners like Microsoft
- Ensure seamless integration of vendor products and services into the resort's digital ecosystem
- Work closely with vendors to ensure their solutions contribute positively to the guest experience
- Stakeholder Collaboration:- Serve as the primary liaison among internal departments such as casino operations, sales, marketing, technology, and operations to ensure alignment and successful product implementation
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal teams and external development agencies
- Advocate for guest experience considerations in all stakeholder interactions
- Customer Experience Focus:- Advocate for the guest perspective in all product decisions, ensuring user-friendly and engaging experiences
- Understand and anticipate customer expectations, particularly regarding online booking experiences, to inform product development
- Continuously seek feedback from guests to improve the digital product
- Development Team Coordination:- Collaborate with external development agencies during the initial phases while assisting in building and integrating an internal development team
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of the digital product by coordinating development efforts and managing timelines
- Ensure development efforts are aligned with enhancing the guest experience
- Market Research and Analysis:- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights within the hospitality and casino industry
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform product strategy and enhancements
- Focus on market research that highlights guest experience trends and expectations
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in digital product management, with a preference for candidates with hospitality, hotel booking, or online travel booking experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
Skills / Knowledge
- Proven track record of managing guest-facing digital products, either web or mobile applications
- Strong understanding of customer expectations and user experience principles, particularly in online booking contexts
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing diverse internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and customize off-the-shelf products to meet specific business needs
- Experience coordinating with external development agencies and building internal development teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly
- Familiarity with both web and mobile application development processes
- Knowledge of vendor management and integration, particularly with large-scale partners
- A strong passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Experience working on casino/gaming products is highly desirable
