Nadia`s client, an international manufacturing and trading company requires a qualified Chief Financial Officer with 15 years’ experience out of which 10+ years as CFO / Finance Director in a manufacturing / international trading company.

Key Responsibilities :

The Chief Financial Officer position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company’s assets and report accurate financial results.

Principal Accountabilities :

Planning

  • Assist in formulating the company’s future direction & supporting tactical initiatives.
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
  • Develop financial and tax strategies.
  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
  • Develop performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction.
  • Oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and analysis activities, ensuring they align with the company's objectives.

Operations

  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
  • Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
  • Manage the accounting, tax, and treasury departments.
  • Oversee the financial operations.
  • Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced.
  • Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems.
  • Implement operational best practices.
  • Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost effective benefit package .
  • Oversee the issuance of financial information.
  • Guide the overall financial strategy and decision-making processes, focusing on optimizing the financial performance.
  • Report financial results to the board of directors.

Financial Reporting and Compliance

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with all regulatory financial requirements, and maintain high standards of corporate governance.

Investor Relations

  • Develop and maintain strong, transparent relationships with investors, providing regular updates and insights into company financials and strategies.

Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other key financial stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance; CA, ACCA, CPA or CFA is highly preferred.
  • Total of 15 years’ experience out of which 10+ years as CFO / Finance Director in a manufacturing / international trading company.
  • Experience in partnering with an executive team / Reporting to Board.
  • A high level of written and oral communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning, particularly within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the UAE financial and legal framework and experience in the Middle Eastern market.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and ethical judgment.
