POSITION SUMMARY
To provide comprehensive confidential Human Resource services to the hotel, supporting the achievement of business goals and strategies while developing and maintaining positive internal and external customer relationships with Associates and Managers.
This supervisory role manages Talent Acquisition for administrative departments, including the full recruitment cycle, driving attraction, development, and retention of diverse high-caliber talent. It also oversees payroll operations, including creating new joiner profiles, handling status changes, payroll inputs, and collaborating with Paymaster to ensure smooth payroll closure each month.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience:
- Experience in handling and managing recruitment operations.
- Hospitality/hotel experience is desirable.
- Experience in managing a direct report and delegating tasks.
Skills and Knowledge

Education or Certification

SPECIFIC DUTIES
The following responsibilities are critical to the successful performance of this position:
Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruitment and selection process for the property, leveraging the Global Recruitment System (GRS) to source, identify, screen, interview, and select diverse high-caliber talent, focusing on non-management roles.
- Use creative, nontraditional sourcing strategies and best practices to attract top talent, ensuring compliance with internal systems.
- Support recruitment events to establish staffing for the hotel.
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires and liaise with HR Operations and Government Relations/Protocols to ensure timely arrangements for flights, housing, and visas within budget.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on open non-management roles to balance talent development and business needs.
- Ensure the property’s selection and interviewing processes align with company standards, focusing on quality of hire.
- Monitor sourcing processes and staffing outcomes.
- Create engaging job advertisements to attract diverse candidates.
- Follow interview guidelines and ensure consistent screening criteria.
- Oversee the selection, non-selection, and offer processes, ensuring proper procedures and communication.
- Work with Government Relations on visa processes, staying updated on legal requirements in Dubai and UAE.
Payroll
- Create new joiner profiles on Oasys.
- Manage leave approvals and related metrics.
- Assist in preparing payroll reports.
- Update onboarding lists and change of status details.
Associate Relations
- Communicate associate benefits regularly.
- Provide support for associates discussing personal issues, maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist with organizing associate events.
- Ensure exit interviews are completed and data is compiled for retention strategies.
General
- Assist with administrative processes and data collation for reports.
- Support data maintenance in PeopleSoft and payroll systems.
- Prepare documents using Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- File and track documents and appointments.
- Maintain activity reports and communicate with staff to resolve issues.
- Coordinate monthly financial reports related to Forecast and P&L with leadership.
- Implement analytics to measure recruitment and development effectiveness, reporting to management.
- Assist with HR operations, including Employee Relations and Exit Interviews.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, Marriott standards, and UAE laws.
- Support HR/Talent administration tasks for departmental efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager and senior leaders.
