Role Summary

Astra Tech is seeking a seasoned Senior Fullstack Developer to join our high-performing engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of building scalable backend systems and crafting engaging, responsive web interfaces. You will play a key role in the continued innovation of our Botim app, delivering world-class digital experiences to users across the UAE and beyond.

Key Requirements

• Develop and maintain fullstack web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React and Node.js.
• Architect and build robust backend systems with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
• Create visually appealing and responsive front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs to support dynamic application functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Design and implement complex and high-performance SQL queries.
• Perform rigorous testing using frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or Jest to ensure application stability.
• Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and promoting knowledge sharing across the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, optimizing code for efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Manage version control using Git, ensuring well-structured commit histories and smooth team collaboration.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• In-depth understanding and experience working with REST APIs.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex, optimized queries.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, user interface principles, and application architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality, production-ready applications.
