Job description

About this role:

  • Plan and schedule all internal and third-party training sessions.
  • Develop monthly and yearly training schedules.
  • Design and implement training programs, whether outsourced or in-house.
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers to train employees and provide necessary information about the sessions.
  • Conduct organization-wide training with trainers to assess translations and identify skills, knowledge, or language gaps that need addressing.
  • Maintain an updated database and training records, including assessments, certificates, and the status of training sessions.
  • Assist the HSE and Admin departments in providing any client-required documents related to the training.
  • Issue training cards and certificates to employees.
  • Stay updated on the latest training trends and best practices.
  • Visit sites and address unsafe employee actions or site conditions to the relevant department for immediate resolution.
  • Inspect machinery at the site to ensure it meets our safety standards.
  • Host orientation/induction training for all new employees to provide information about government and company laws and regulations.
  • Manage all details concerning career progression and performance evaluations.
  • Collect feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of the training.

Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:

In addition to all job-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Khidmah HSE department regularly updates existing and introduce new policies, procedures, and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.

Information Security responsibilities:

  • Comply with Basatin Information Security Policies
  • Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities
  • Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training
  • Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).
  • Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus
  • Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.
  • Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality
  • Conduct safety training to use the machineries and equipment used for operations

Qualifications:

  • Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with landscape machinery, spray and chemical application, and chainsaws.
  • Must possess a valid Train the Trainer certificate.
  • Must hold relevant Health and Safety certifications.
  • Must have certifications related to landscape machinery.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to conduct site visits and perform physical inspections when needed.
