Job description

Enhance the overall shopping experience for customers by creating visually appealing displays for a store or a large department within the store. Collaborate closely with the senior visual merchandisers team to implement and maintain the store's visual standards, driving sales and reinforcing brand image for a small store or a department within a store.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Brand Image
2. Collaborate with maintenance and cleaning staff to uphold visual standards.
3. Provide guidance and training to store staff on maintaining visual standards and ensuring a cohesive brand image.
4. Propose changes to improve the shopping experience and maximize sales.
5. Make recommendations based on customer feedback and sales data.
6. Communicate deviations or challenges to the Visual Merchandiser for resolution.
7. Ensure consistent achievement of brand identity and presentation standards through eye-catching displays that incorporate commercial opportunities.
8. Implement brand-specific visual merchandising standards.
9. Coordinate store displays in line with brand guidelines and strategy.
10. Develop floor plans to maximize visual impact.
11. Arrange merchandise, signage, fixtures, and layout guides.
12. Photograph each change in merchandise display.
13. Use creative lighting for windows.
14. Maximize placement of new lines and re-merchandise according to trends.
15. Create store layouts based on categories.
16. Ensure proper merchandising of items.
17. Collect reviews and feedback on merchandise.

Other Responsibilities:

1. Work with the senior Visual Merchandising and sales teams to achieve commercial goals.
2. Participate in pre-opening activities and ensure brand standards are followed during store setup.
3. Research current market trends and lifestyles.

Desired Experience:

The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in visual merchandising or sales, to understand store operations, customer behavior, and how displays influence purchasing decisions. Additionally, 6 months to 1 year of direct experience in visual merchandising tasks such as setting up displays, following planograms, and maintaining aesthetics is highly valuable.
