A leading healthcare center in the UAE is in search of an EEG Technician to prepare patients for procedures, operate EEG equipment, and interpret results. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma or degree in EEG Technology and exhibit strong technical skills with a patient-centric approach.

Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for EEG procedures, explaining the process and ensuring patient comfort.
Operate EEG equipment to record brain activity.
Ensure proper placement of electrodes and adherence to safety standards.
Monitor patient during the test and troubleshoot technical issues.
Analyze and interpret EEG recordings under supervision.
Maintain and calibrate EEG equipment regularly.
Document test results accurately and report findings to neurologists.
Follow infection control and safety procedures.

Requirements:

Diploma , Degree or certification in EEG Technology or Neurodiagnostic Technology.
Prior experience performing EEG tests in a clinical setting preferred.
Knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurological disorders.
Attention to detail and excellent technical skills.
Good communication skills and patient care orientation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
