Job description

Business Partnering

  • Liaise with business partners within and outside the Company to conclude contracts and transactions. Monitor the SLA with shared services and collaborate on day-to-day activities to ensure consistent service delivery and compliance with KPIs. Work closely with stakeholders across functions in a fast-paced environment, providing solutions to issues, fostering collaboration, and proactively identifying problems to develop effective solutions. Contribute to projects and initiatives, including corporate-level projects, to support company goals. Maintain functional procedures, internal controls, and reporting in line with company policies, group policies, IFRS, laws, regulations, and statutes.

Accounts Receivable Operations

  • Review post-handover payment plan (PHPP) buy-out proposals for policy adherence. Perform monthly reviews of staff commissions for land sales. Seek approval for write-offs as per company policy. Monitor and analyze customer accounts receivable to address overdue payments promptly, facilitating debt collection and cash flow management.

Reporting and Audits

  • Review monthly revenue recognition calculations based on IFRS to ensure accurate and compliant reporting. Support shared services in monthly closing activities. Review monthly management and statutory reports to provide financial insights and ensure regulatory compliance. Reconcile revenue and costs of sales on projects to identify discrepancies and ensure profitability. Review Accounts Receivable schedules to identify bad debts and track payments. Act as a focal point for statutory audits and internal audit requests, facilitating communication and coordination with auditors.

Others

  • Ensure departmental objectives are met and financial integrity maintained by ensuring all transactions comply with policies. Develop and update policies, processes, and procedures to enhance financial controls. Assess internal controls and recommend improvements. Evaluate accounting activities and suggest enhancements. Facilitate audits and implement recommendations. Oversee the implementation of Oracle Unifier. Seek automation opportunities to improve control design and monitoring through financial systems and technology.
