Position Title: Head of Supply Chain – GETM

Summary:

The Head of Supply Chain will oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficient product flow from suppliers to customers, including logistics. This role involves driving strategic initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and maintaining high customer satisfaction with cost-efficiency and compliance.

Areas of Responsibility:

1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals; identify operational improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
2. Team Management: Lead and develop supply chain teams; foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
3. Supplier and Vendor Management: Build strong relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
4. Demand and Supply Planning: Build forecasting tools per country; oversee demand forecasting and supply planning; collaborate with sales and marketing.
5. Logistics and Distribution: Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution; optimize networks to reduce costs and lead times.
6. Operational Excellence: Implement best practices, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
7. Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks; ensure legal and industry compliance.
8. Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams; report to senior management on performance and initiatives.

Experience:

• At least 8 years in supply chain management, with 5 years in leadership roles.
• Experience in multi-country operations and sourcing.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with logistics across multiple countries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related; Master’s preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and supply chain software, including ERP and demand planning systems.
