Job description

Location: Dubai, UAE

Reports To: Middle East Travel Retail Area Manager

Permanent role

As a key member of our Export Department, you will report directly to the Middle East Travel Retail Area Manager and be based in Dubai.

The Travel Retail Sales Manager (TRSM) will play a crucial role in expanding our presence in the travel retail sector by driving sales and developing strong partnerships with key travel retail partners across the region. You will be responsible for implementing the brand's travel retail strategy, protecting our brand image, and leading a diverse and dynamic team of Beauty Consultants (BCs).

What Impact You Will Create

Commercial Strategy & Sales Growth


  • In collaboration with the Area Manager, develop and implement tailored sales strategies for each client and market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including buyers, retail managers, and partners.
  • Monitor stock levels, ensuring optimal availability of both new and regular product assortments across all points of sale.
  • Track and analyze key business performance indicators such as sellout data, market share, BC performance, and shop trends, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Protect and strengthen brand leadership and maintain top rankings within the assigned travel retail markets.
  • Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets and ensure the performance aligns with the region’s expectations
  • Responsible for novelties forecasts analysis and input
  • Monitor commercial expenses and ensure that budget adherence


Operational Excellence


  • Regularly visit POS in assigned locations (travel represents approximately 70% of your time), ensuring implementation of brand guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure premium brand visibility through flawless execution of brand animations and retail standards in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Analyze competitor performance and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure the excellence of point-of-sale (POS) execution and customer experience.


Team Management & Development


  • Manage a diverse team of Beauty Confidents (BCs), providing leadership, motivation, and guidance to ensure high performance.
  • Recruit and train new BCs, ensuring they are well-equipped for trade activations and sales objectives.
  • Partner with the Travel Retail field coach and learning department to ensure ongoing training, skill development, and continuous learning.
  • Organize onboarding sessions, local learning events, and travel retail conventions to keep the team motivated and up to date with the brand’s priorities
  • Monitor team expenses and ensure that budget adherence and cost efficiency are maintained.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Fluency in Arabic is mandatory; fluency in French is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.


The Travel Retail Sales Manager will be based in Dubai, overseeing a designated zone within the Middle East region. They will also be expected to participate in key annual events, including one local learning event, the Travel Retail Convention, and three TRSMs meetings per year.
