Job description

We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Engineer with a strong background in Oil & Gas and Construction to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental policies on-site. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards, promoting a culture of safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive safety measures.
  3. Monitor daily site operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  4. Investigate incidents/accidents and implement corrective actions.
  5. Coordinate and conduct safety training and toolbox talks for workers and staff.
  6. Maintain HSE documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
  7. Liaise with contractors, clients, and local authorities on safety matters.
  8. Prepare and submit regular HSE performance reports to management.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas and Construction projects.
  3. Certification in NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent HSE qualification is mandatory.
  4. In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE laws and standards.
  5. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Familiar with incident investigation tools and HSE management systems.
