General Purpose

As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our expanding cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with our security team to develop security controls to safeguard our environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting enterprise infrastructures in global 24x7 environments.

The candidate should possess a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, with experience implementing best practices for hybrid integrations with on-premise systems. A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential for effectively sharing knowledge.

Essential Duties

• Create a comprehensive cloud strategy and oversee its adoption.
• Regularly assess cloud applications, hardware, and software.
• Develop and organize cloud systems.
• Collaborate with IT security to monitor cloud privacy.
• Respond promptly and professionally to technical issues.
• Provide guidance on infrastructure migration techniques, including bulk application transfers to the cloud.
• Identify optimal cloud architecture solutions to meet strategic company needs.
• Support development teams with cloud deployments.
• Assist on-premise teams with cloud connectivity integrations.
• Experience with visual modeling and design tools.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
