Job summary

A leading aviation authority in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Flight Data Analyst to support flight data processing and reporting. The role involves ensuring data accuracy, preparing monthly reports, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in air traffic control operations.

  • 2 years work experience within an operational air traffic control unit or similar environment.

  • Prepare monthly reports and ensure timely functional reports.

Job description

  • Assist the FDS in the process of extracting DML and SFPL files from the server for the purpose of flight data processing. Perform necessary checks in order to confirm the accuracy and maintain a database of the total aircraft movements within UAE FIR.
  • In consultation with FDS, jointly collate flight data for the purpose of maintaining suitable statistical records for the ACC
  • Ensure that the processed flight data is uploaded to the aircraft movement database within GCAA Portal enabling other departments to access database whenever required.

Monthly Reports

  • Assist the FDS in preparation of monthly reports, statistical summary and charts pertaining to the flight operations on a monthly basis and as and when required by the management.

Reporting

  • Ensure that all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet GCAA requirements and quality standards.

Health, Safety and Environment within GCAA

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude as per IMS available standards.

Other Tasks/ Accountability

  • Perform additional tasks relevant to the role / area of expertise as requested by the management to be able to achieve the objectives/commitments.

  • Bachelor degree with 2 years work experience within an operational air traffic control unit or a similar environment.
