WSP is seeking a Project Director to join our dynamic team and lead collaborative efforts on complex transport and infrastructure development projects in Dubai.

As a Project Director, you will oversee the delivery of our multidisciplinary teams on major transport & infrastructure design and masterplan projects. You will work closely with diverse stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget, while optimizing outcomes for all parties involved.

Your role involves:

1. Collaborative Leadership: Foster a culture of collaboration among all project stakeholders, promoting principles of Integrated Project Delivery.
2. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule, aligned with client objectives.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with clients, design professionals, contractors, and key trade partners throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and develop mitigation strategies for project risks.
5. Budget and Cost Control: Monitor financials, manage budgets, and implement cost-effective strategies.
6. Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to meet or exceed standards and client expectations.
7. Schedule Management: Develop and track project schedules, making adjustments to meet deadlines.
8. Change Management: Facilitate change orders, maintaining alignment with project goals.
9. Communication: Maintain open communication channels among stakeholders, providing regular updates.
10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation using Lean principles.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven experience as a Senior PM/Project Director on large-scale transport and infrastructure projects.
• Technical expertise in detailed design and master planning.
• Minimum 20 years in construction engineering.
• Experience with Dubai-based projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
