Job description

Responsibilities
  1. Receive bakery goods, check specifications, ensure appropriate storing, and contribute to stocking the bakery station with the right items.
  2. Supervise and control that the bakery production conforms to set quality, time, hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
  3. Implement adequate hygienic procedures and guidelines as set for the brand, ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times, and report discrepancies to hierarchy.
  4. Assist in preparing and cooking all bakery items in accordance with set specifications and instructions from the Regional Bakery Chef.
  5. Prepare and maintain the bakery display section as per the Brand Manager's instructions.
  6. Supervise and train team members on key responsibilities in the bakery section, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
  7. Carry out supervisory responsibilities including planning, task assignment, deadline setting, monitoring results and quality, and relaying team requests to hierarchy.
Qualifications
  • Technical Degree in Food and Beverage or Hospitality Management.
  • 2-3 years of experience in F&B operations.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Competencies include Change and Adaptability (Level 1), Commercial Understanding (Level 1), Customer Focus (Level 1), Initiative (Level 1), Teamwork (Level 2), Driving and Achieving Results (Level 1).
