Designation :- Junior Accountant

Job Purpose :- To ensure accurate, timely, and compliant recording of financial transactions by maintaining financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, assisting in financial reporting, and supporting VAT, audit, and inventory processes, thereby contributing to the overall financial health and regulatory compliance of the organization.

Key Responsibilities/Duties :-

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure timely and accurate posting in accounting systems
• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial reports, ledgers, and balance sheets
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment follow-ups
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and daily sales reports from POS systems
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist in inventory tracking, cost control, and petty cash reconciliation
• Coordinate with other departments for documentation and financial data
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
• Prepare VAT filing support and assist with audit documentation when needed
• Perform any other finance-related tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager

Experience :-

• 12 years of accounting experience, preferably in the F&B industry.

Key Skills and Abilities :-

• Strong knowledge in MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is a plus
• Must be currently based in the UAE

Educational Qualification :-

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
