Job description

Wood is currently looking for a Civil Designer to join the Abu Dhabi Engineering Center team.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Civil Engineering
2. Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
3. Sound knowledge of manual and CAD draughting techniques
4. Proficiency in software like AUTOCAD, MICROSTATION, etc.
5. Experience with 3D software such as SP3D, PDS / PDMS
6. Experience with CIVIL 3D software is an advantage

Experience & Skills:

1. Experience working on concrete structures, steel structures, U/G structures, and architectural drawings for low-rise buildings
2. Experience with grading drawings, civil site layouts, and U/G facilities
3. Knowledge of relevant codes of practice, standards, and statutory documentation
4. Ability to adhere to company and client standards
5. Capability to create base design drawings/models from scope with minimal guidance
6. Willingness to accept delegated responsibilities
7. Experience acting as a focal point, self-checking, and reviewing others' work
