Job Purpose
In Cameroon, the primary malaria control strategy involves distributing Long-Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs). The country has conducted four mass distribution campaigns since 2011, with varying numbers of LLINs distributed. Despite these efforts, coverage remains below targets, with only 72.3% of households owning at least one LLIN and 55.6% of the population using them, according to the 2021 MIS.
The upcoming campaign scheduled for 2025–2026 aims to distribute 17,420,692 LLINs across ten regions, in two phases, funded by the Global Fund and the Cameroonian government. The campaign will distribute dual active ingredient LLINs and incorporate digital components for microplanning, supervision, and logistics.
Main Objective
The Consultant will provide technical assistance in strategy, operations, and M&E, both remotely and on-site, to support Phase 1 of the LLIN campaign. This includes microplanning, tool development, training facilitation, and operational support.
