Job description

Synopsis

Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks as per operational requirements to timely identify and rectify defects and to ensure safety of flight operations.

Accountabilities
  1. Ensure IFE maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and stay updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices, as well as general/technical information.
  2. Execute and sign off all IFE related tasks.
  3. Visit and troubleshoot any aircraft reported with an IFE failure.
  4. Ensure maximum attention to on-time performance by preparing all materials, tooling, equipment, and documentation in advance.
  5. Inform and consult with LAE as required to maintain a complete overview of the aircraft.
  6. Maintain a FOD-free working area and clean up the bay area before and after work.
  7. Develop oneself and increase aircraft knowledge with the goal of further career development.
  8. Accept appropriate training to contribute more effectively and participate proactively in all Health and Safety matters.
  9. Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the company's ethics.
  10. Ensure all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with correct labels.
  11. Ensure tooling and equipment used are cleaned and returned in serviceable condition or clearly labeled if defective.
Education & Experience
  1. Valid aircraft maintenance license (ICAO II, EASA 66, GCAA). Formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 2 years in Line/Base Maintenance Environment.
  3. Experience with Panasonic eX2, eX3, Thales, or SAFRAN SPI is mandatory.
