A Restaurant Manager is responsible for directing and organizing the activities and services of a hotel food and beverage outlet (restaurant, lounge, room service, coffee shop, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Restaurant Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing the operations of a hotel food and beverage outlet, ensuring high standards of guest service and profitability. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing all outlet operations, including guest service standards, product quality, cost controls, profitability, marketing initiatives, systems management, budgeting, policy enforcement, and meetings.
  2. Monitoring and developing team member performance through supervision, professional development, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
  3. Assessing product and service satisfaction trends, addressing issues, and implementing improvements.
  4. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
  5. Implementing marketing and up-selling techniques to promote services and maximize revenue.
  6. Ensuring team members are knowledgeable about offerings, policies, and local events.
  7. Recruiting, interviewing, and training team members.
