About the team
You will be part of a dynamic and autonomous team, composed of Careem veterans and new joiners, all aligned on values of ownership, innovation, and service to customers, partners, colleagues, and captains.
What you'll do
- Identify, target, pitch, and close deals with restaurant and food outlet partners to onboard them to Careem Food Delivery.
- Target various restaurant types, including large food chains, medium, and small outlets.
- Identify high-potential geographic clusters within the city with dense restaurant presence and diverse cuisines.
- Onboard partners who are already on other platforms and expand beyond to build a competitive edge, using a cluster-by-cluster approach.
- Negotiate deals including commercials, exclusivity, consumer deals, and offers with restaurant partners.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and similar tools.
- A passion for improving lives, excellence in customer service, and alignment with core values: being bold, focused, agile, and collaborative.
- Proven experience in acquisition, direct sales, and closing deals.
- Motivation and a proactive 'hunting' mindset to develop new opportunities and grow the business.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across various organizational levels.
- Excellent communication skills and market trend awareness.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in field sales or business development with consistent target achievement.
- Ability to work under pressure with limited resources and generate innovative solutions.
- Ownership, high energy, self-motivation, and tech-savviness, especially in e-commerce and internet-based businesses.
- Strong negotiation skills and good knowledge of the Abu Dhabi market and geographic landscape.
