About the team:

As a Partner Manager for the Middle East & North Africa (MEA) region, you will have the unique opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with strategic partners in the MEA payments market. These partnerships will help to shape the strategy of our Go-To-Market team and measurably impact the growth of the company. You will focus on our most valuable ecosystems in the region, creating and executing our partner strategy. These partnerships are vital in unlocking new addressable markets in Worldpay's strategically aligned verticals. Working alongside colleagues across MEA, you will refine and improve our partner strategy and execution.

What you'll own:

  1. Define the vision, strategic objectives, and partner development program for Worldpay in the MEA region.
  2. Build new partnerships to unlock new markets and maximize mutual revenues. Develop key local alliances to generate sales opportunities.
  3. Build and maintain a strong network within the MEA payment ecosystem.
  4. Secure leadership alignment at the highest levels with partners, both globally and regionally.
  5. Collaborate with MEA and European commercial teams, marketing, professional services, alliances, program management, legal, finance, and other teams to execute sales and partner relationship strategies.

What you bring:

  • UAE-based experience, preferably in the payments industry.
  • Preferably bilingual (Arabic & English).
  • Understanding of how companies like Worldpay create value through partner referral networks.
  • Knowledge of the MEA payments industry and its role in the merchant value chain.
  • Strong understanding of the Fintech ecosystem.
  • Proven success in partner/channel environments.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical details effectively to non-technical and executive audiences.
  • Deep knowledge of merchant or partner onboarding, compliance, and contractual models.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Understanding of cross-border payments and key players in this space.
  • Knowledge of international and local card schemes and alternative payment methods.
  • Experience working with payment providers.
  • Established relationships within the payments ecosystem.
