Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Project Manager with a minimum of 12 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong bilingual skills in Arabic and English, have extensive experience managing virtual teams, and be well-versed in coordinating with a professional client. The role requires adherence to PMI standards to ensure successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Job Purpose

Manage the development, maintenance and operations of IT business applications onsite and ensure they are within cost, quality and the service performance expectation.

Provide leadership to the maintenance team which may include project leaders and developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans that align with PMI standards, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Communicate, influence, persuade and lead by example, the core values of the company.
• Lead and manage virtual teams across different time zones, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment (SMEs, System Architects, Lead Software Engineers, Consultants, and QA Engineer).
• Efficiently allocate resources to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify needs and set priorities for the team that is congruent with project goals.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on project outcomes.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet the agreed quality standards and are aligned with client requirements and organizational goals.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met through effective communication and relationship management.
• Establish and maintain good business relationships with stakeholders and ensure buy-in throughout the project lifecycle to achieve business goals.
• Track project progress, prepare status reports, and communicate project performance to senior management and client.
• Ensure project adhere to relevant legal, regulatory, and organizational policies and standards defined in the contract.
• Ensures continuity and operational effectiveness of projects.
• Understand the interdependencies of the services (application, system, network and database) and is able to pin-point problem area accurately to improve overall efficiency.
• Understand overall systems solutions and architecture.
• Direct the conduct of application systems audit and performance review and make recommendations for changes, as necessary.
• Ensure that all security procedures within their area of responsibility are carried out correctly to achieve compliance with security policies and standards.
• Any other duties as and when assigned.

Financial Accountabilities

• Ensure uptime of application as per contractual terms to avoid any liquidated damages
• Fulfillment of budget go-get revenue target for change requests & new services
• Projects profit and loss

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Language Skills: Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT project management and operations, with a proven track record of successfully managing mid-to-large scale projects (>$2 million).
• Certification: PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable, with work experience in a CMMI environment.
• Proven experience with ITIL framework and IT service management.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of IT systems, software development, and infrastructure management.
• Proven ability to coordinate with clients and manage their expectations effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive solutions.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
