Job Description

The Field Service Engineer provides service and customer support at customer locations for AMETEK Level Measurement Solutions (LMS) products. Responsibilities include operational verification, commissioning, startup, configuration, troubleshooting, preventive or corrective repairs, and training on all LMS products.

Responsibilities

1. Travel to job sites within the designated region(s).
2. Provide support at customer locations, including commissioning, configuring, and evaluating installed LMS products.
3. Troubleshoot product and process issues.
4. Perform testing functions.
5. Repair, replace, or initiate RMA process for defective parts.
6. Prepare and manage documentation related to field support.
7. Log and track support cases in the business system.
8. Communicate effectively with customers regarding site visit results.
9. Share product and commercial feedback with the service team for collaboration with sales, product management, and engineering.
10. Report quality issues to the relevant departments.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
2. 1-3 years of industry experience, preferably in electronics, electromechanical systems, or instrumentation.
3. Basic technical aptitude and electro-mechanical skills.
4. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
5. Ability to meet physical requirements of safety training, including HUET certification.
