RAK Ports operates a dynamic network of ports in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, serving as a critical logistics and trade hub in the region. With a portfolio that spans dry bulk, general cargo, industrial zones, and free zone operations, we play a vital role in regional and international supply chains.

As we launch strategic growth initiatives such as SAQR 2.0 — our next-generation deepwater port and free zone. This role offers the opportunity to directly shape the brand, voice, and commercial visibility of one of the UAE’s most ambitious port operators.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy for RAK Ports. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for enhancing our brand visibility, driving B2B engagement, promoting commercial offerings, and supporting the global positioning of major initiatives like SAQR 2.0.

The ideal candidate brings a strong B2B mindset, experience in industrial, port, or logistics sectors, and the ability to balance commercial strategy with hands-on execution. They will serve as the voice of RAK Ports across internal and external channels while building trusted relationships with investors, customers, media, and global industry networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a cohesive marketing and communications strategy aligned with RAK Ports’ business objectives
  • Lead brand development and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms and audiences
  • Manage and oversee content creation, public relations, digital marketing, and advertising campaigns
  • Drive the marketing strategy and international positioning for SAQR 2.0, from launch to go-to-market activation
  • Plan and implement integrated campaigns (print, digital, PR, events) targeting industry partners, investors, and customers
  • Coordinate internal and executive communications, including presentations, internal newsletters, and corporate updates
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Commercial, and Port Operations to craft tailored promotional material and investment decks
  • Manage corporate website, SEO, social media, and CRM tools including Salesforce
  • Represent RAK Ports at trade shows, conferences, and industry forums locally and internationally
  • Monitor trends, competitor campaigns, and industry movements to provide insights and adapt strategy

Candidate Profile

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Professional certifications or memberships (e.g., CIM, IABC, Digital Marketing) are a plus

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in marketing & communications, ideally within ports, logistics, infrastructure, or industrial B2B sectors
  • Proven success in international campaigns and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong understanding of brand building, digital media, public relations, and B2B positioning
  • Prior experience managing external agencies, creative teams, and marketing budgets

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong digital and content marketing capabilities
  • Salesforce CRM experience preferred
  • Confident in managing multi-channel campaigns and brand identity
  • Ability to build cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder trust
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically when needed
