Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of treatments including massages, facials, body treatments, scrubs, wraps and other spa services as per the spa menu.
• Ensure treatments are performed to the highest standard and in accordance with company protocols.
• Greet guests warmly and professionally; conduct consultations to understand guest needs and preferences.
• Provide recommendations for spa treatments, retail products, and wellness packages based on guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms, linens, tools, and overall spa facilities.
• Ensure guest comfort and safety during treatments, explaining procedures and checking for any allergies or health conditions.
• Upsell retail products and additional services to guests, helping to meet spa sales targets.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines or any protocols as required by UAE regulations.
• Participate in spa promotions, training sessions, and team meetings as directed.
• Report equipment malfunctions and guest concerns to the Spa Manager promptly.

Preferences:

• Proven experience as a Spa Therapist or similar role (preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel or spa in the UAE).
• Certification or diploma in massage therapy or spa treatments.
• Knowledge of various massage techniques (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, etc.).
• Familiarity with spa products and ability to explain their benefits.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Presentable, well-groomed, and professional demeanor.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
