Our client in Sharjah Media City is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide daily technical support, maintain systems and networks, manage hardware/software setups, and ensure smooth IT operations across the organization. The salary range is between 8,000-10,000 AED per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily IT support tickets and resolve hardware/software issues.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Administer LAN and WAN networks, troubleshoot network issues.
- Manage Office 365 and G-Suite, handle email configurations, signatures, and user issues.
- Lead IT projects, including planning and scope definition to meet deadlines.
- Administer Zoho products, Jamf, Sophos XDR, Perception Point, and Genesys Omnichannel.
- Oversee front desk ticketing system, attendance machines, CCTV, and smart devices.
- Troubleshoot network security, printer, Windows, and Mac issues.
- Manage virtualization and storage solutions, including Google Drive and OneDrive backups.
- Provide Level 1 & 2 hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, shared folders, and NTFS permissions.
- Administer Cisco telephony, switches, and FortiGate firewalls.
- Install and maintain virtual machines using VMWare.
- Handle IT procurement, asset tagging, and stock management via Service Desk+.
- Train employees on new systems and support onboarding processes.
- Create and update IT policies.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support roles.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices, ERPs, Genesys Omnichannel, and cybersecurity basics.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
