Our Procurement & Logistics group focuses on aircraft services as well as general services. They negotiate and manage contracts with third-party suppliers and find ways to mitigate costs. Procurements and Logistics Specialist

The role involves supervising and supporting a team of procurement professionals to ensure best practices in Customer Relationship Management and Supplier Relationship Management during procurement processes. Responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating for complex and high-value commodities and services to achieve value for money, lowest total cost of ownership, and a competitive position for the company, following best procurement and logistics practices.

In This Role, You Will

1. Manage PSS (Procurement Support System): Monitor supplier compliance with contracts, manage contract library and document access, and facilitate timely resolution of contractual issues.
2. Support the implementation of procurement strategies to deliver cost efficiencies.
3. Supervise sourcing, pre-qualification, and evaluation of suppliers, advising on the most suitable commodities and services.
4. Authorize supply orders and contracts up to AED 10,000; analyze and prepare reports for higher-value contracts.
5. Develop tender documents, facilitate cross-functional teams to produce specifications, and issue tenders to obtain competitive quotations.
6. Lead negotiations to ensure optimal contractual and commercial terms, finalizing agreements with suppliers.
7. Identify and mitigate commercial risks in procurement activities.
8. Conduct feasibility studies for resource utilization.
9. Implement CRM/SRM programs to enhance customer satisfaction and supplier development.
10. Review activity and performance reports to ensure operational efficiency and identify areas for intervention.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree or Honours with 3+ years of procurement experience outside the aircraft industry. Preferred international qualifications include MCIPS, CIPS, CPP, and others listed. A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Finance, Engineering, or an MBA is also desirable.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong sourcing, evaluation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Experience supervising major capital acquisitions and service contract tenders, leading negotiations.
