Our client is looking for their next Account Director to join them in Dubai office. It is a leading Digital Media agency with a very strong presence in the UAE now expanding to the GCC countries.
The Account Director will take care of largescale global & regional accounts and nurture client relationships while growing existing accounts in the GCC region.
Responsibilities:
- This role will work closely with the Business Director and is responsible for the overall coordination, execution, and control of production projects.
- Responsible for day-to-day activities with production hubs ensuring successful completion of projects.
- Their proximity to the global leads enables a strong accountability for ensuring consistency with project commitments and goals.
- This role demands a forward-thinking strategic leader who will oversee a large multidisciplinary team serving both regional and global clients.
- Will also play a key role in identifying new growth opportunities both within existing brands and agency new business efforts.
- Also will act as point of escalation for the creative marketing team and reconcile production differences with client concerns.
- In doing so, the candidate will foster strong partnerships with other project leads while overseeing project timelines and planning.
- The account director will represent production in the eyes of the client while educating clients and team members.
- Will take responsibility for all production relationships and processes globally ensuring consistency with existing commitments and goals.
- Will actively cooperate with selected stakeholders from the client-side, agency account managers, and the production teams to ensure all agreed work is delivered to the client in high quality and within agreed timelines.
- More than just delivering the expected production materials, he must ensure all production runs effectively and efficiently.
- Additionally, this person will help to identify day-to-day hurdles and address specific production needs and optimizations while providing support to large-scale production.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years experience in account management including 3-5 years of supervisory/team lead experience.
- Digital fluency with an understanding of the complex fragmented media/advertising landscape and ability to bring together cohesive programs that drive results for the clients.
- Extensive video production development and the capability to lead mid to large-scale production.
- Recent experience in nontraditional experiential creative and production.
- Curiosity to learn business and categorical knowledge that can help drive and direct creative solutions that enable positive business outcomes for the clients.
- An appreciation for how great work gets done and a commitment to ensuring creative excellence.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
