Job description

The successful applicant is responsible for ensuring stability and optimizing the Logistics branch performance in terms of Cost and Operations.

Key Objectives :

• Implementation of Cost Saving initiatives in the MENA region.
• Stabilizing and Optimizing 3PL Performance in terms of Operation and Cost.
• Supporting initiatives to improve E-store Logistics services.
• Accelerating process innovation across all MENA branches through data analysis.

Role and Responsibilities :

• Provide optimal logistics services to meet the company's requirements, including securing infrastructure and managing logistics operations.
• Monitor the overall performance of logistics partners, including import customs clearance, delivery, storage, and logistics costs; achieve targets based on logistics KPIs.
• Implement continuous process improvements and systems to enhance logistics competitiveness.
• Manage logistics KPIs, and enhance logistics partners' execution capabilities from customer, financial, and HR perspectives.
• Identify and develop new logistics services to secure competitiveness, and improve existing processes and solutions.
• Implement logistics cost-saving projects and monitor their performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Conduct data analysis to simulate innovation tasks.
• Monitor E-store performance for LMD evaluation and support initiatives to improve E-store logistics services.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Undertake any ad hoc projects or tasks as directed by management.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in logistics.
• Strong warehouse management experience, with the ability to manage logistics KPIs.
• Previous experience handling logistics for e-commerce.
• Presentable with a professional attitude.
• Excellent skills in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of international trade, import operations, and UAE customs laws.
• Strong quantitative skills and understanding of issues and processes to deliver high-quality results.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
