Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Coordinator Education & Awareness to join our BEEAH Abu Dhabi team and lead impactful waste management awareness initiatives. This role is responsible for educating communities on sustainable practices and driving positive environmental change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement public education and awareness programs on effective waste management practices.
  • Plan and execute community outreach initiatives, including pre-launch promotions for new services and campaigns aligned with client (Tadweer-AD) requirements.
  • Design and deliver awareness campaigns to inform the public about waste facilities, types of waste, and environmental impacts.
  • Conduct surveys and audits before and after campaigns to assess public perception and measure effectiveness against client KPIs.
  • Create high-quality promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, advertisements, and social media content.
  • Engage with schools, colleges, and community groups to deliver educational programs on waste disposal and environmental sustainability.
  • Coordinate with clients and advertising agencies to arrange media campaigns and ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Support all communication activities for the project, including media relations, events, sponsorships, and trainings for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferably in Environmental studies)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in waste public education and awareness programs with international experience.
  • Must be bilingual – English & Arabic.
  • Certification / Diploma in office customer service will be an added advantage.

  • Waste Management & Recycling Knowledge – Strong understanding of sustainable practices and environmental impacts.
  • Bilingual Communication – Excellent oral and written skills in English and Arabic.
  • Community Engagement & Customer Service – Ability to interact effectively with the public, schools, and community groups.
  • Campaign Planning & Marketing Skills – Experience in designing and executing awareness initiatives and promotional activities.
  • Content Creation & Design – Proficiency in creating brochures, flyers, and using tools like Photoshop for high-quality materials.
  • Presentation & Public Speaking – Confident in delivering educational programs and conducting awareness sessions.
  • Technical Proficiency – Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
  • Analytical Skills – Ability to conduct surveys, audits, and measure the effectiveness of campaigns against KPIs.
