Full / part time fully remote within Ras Al Khaimah.

Time Out is looking for a digitally savvy Editor to lead its content across news listicles and features on soontolaunch timeoutrasalkhaimah and associated social channels. Based in Ras Al Khaimah, the ideal candidate is experienced in all aspects of digital and social media content creation. Applicants should be dialled into the emirate's going-out scene with a strong understanding of the local landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily content creation and curation across Time Out Ras Al Khaimah digital and social platforms, including listicle and feature formats.
  • Plan, write, edit, and publish an agreed daily volume of digital articles using Time Out's CMS.
  • Utilise digital analytics and metrics to meet content targets and improve editorial output.
  • Manage and publish content on Time Out Ras Al Khaimah’s social media channels.
  • Oversee newsletter content curation and dispatch.
  • Regularly check and optimise evergreen longform content for search and quality.
  • Produce and present weekly reports to the Head of Content.
  • Collaborate with the video team to create relevant video content.
  • Work with the Head of Content to manage a digital editorial calendar, identifying opportunities and communicating them to other teams.
  • Ensure all content aligns with Time Out’s editorial strategy, meets standards, is SEO-optimised, and complies with legal guidelines.
  • Stay updated on local trends to create engaging content.
