Job description

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute media coverage for celebrations, seminars, conferences, and special events of the entity.
• Contribute to developing processes and procedures to ensure publications are produced according to standards and within deadlines.
• Participate in defining requirements for editing news reports and preparing the daily work plan.
• Proofread reports and news materials in terms of content, language, and accompanying images, and submit revisions to the executive editor.
• Advise writers on content and presentation of materials to ensure required quality and timely production.
• Perform other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
• Follow up on publishing press releases of the entity in coordination with different media outlets and coordinate investigations, interviews, and press conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Media (Master's preferred). 2+ years of experience in editing, journalism, or media.
• Certifications in Digital Marketing or Government Communication are an advantage.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills in Arabic & English.
