Descripción de la vacante

Xantory in Dubai is seeking a hands‑on Computer Vision Engineer to own end‑to‑end development of labelled datasets, model training, and edge deployment for our vertical farming platform. You will design imaging setups, collect data on site, and deploy models at the edge and on the site server.

The role emphasizes production readiness, dataset quality, and collaboration with backend engineers to integrate models into the platform.

Formación

• 4 years hands‑on computer vision experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, including at least one dataset from your own collection.
• Experience building image datasets from scratch with quality control and class balance.
• Practical experience with cameras and video pipelines under artificial lighting.

• Build the farm's first labelled image datasets from on‑site crops.
• Train and deploy models for plant detection, counting, growth stages, canopy coverage, stress and harvest readiness.
• Deploy inference at the edge (Raspberry Pi class today, Jetson if justified) and on the site server.
