Job Description
- Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including fiber optics, VoIP, and wireless networks.
- Conduct site surveys to assess signal strength, coverage, and network performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on telecommunication systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with network engineers, technicians, and clients to address technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and issue resolutions.
- Provide technical support and training to on-site personnel and end-users.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary telecom equipment and materials.
- Stay up to date with the latest telecommunication technologies and industry trends.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of fiber optics, VoIP systems, wireless networks, and mobile communication technologies.
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, VoIP, etc.) and troubleshooting tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in the field.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Physical ability to work in outdoor environments, climb towers, and lift equipment.
- Willingness to travel frequently to different locations and work flexible hours.
