Position Purpose
The Digital Senior Product Owner will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of key product initiatives. You will own end-to-end product development, from identifying customer needs to delivering innovative solutions that drive business impact. You are responsible for leading and owning the full product lifecycle, liaising with key stakeholders across the organization. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Digital Product Director and Digital Engineering Manager to launch initiatives that make web and app experiences best in class and provide a great Omni experience to customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Build, manage, and prioritize product roadmaps based on market research, customer feedback, and data insights.
- Champion the needs of Sephora Middle East customers and local business stakeholders to ensure local requirements are prominent on the roadmap.
- Lead product discovery initiatives to identify new opportunities.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including research, requirements definition, project management, PI Planning, Program Management, QA, UAT, and launch strategy.
- Oversee all stages of the product lifecycle, including design and development.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Experience in building end-to-end customer journeys, including Post-order, Last Mile, Loyalty, and Omni Channel features.
- Gather and synthesize input from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Define OKRs and analyze product performance using KPIs to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a product evangelist both internally and externally.
- Mentor and guide Product Owners or Associate Product Managers to support their growth.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across departments.
- Stay updated on market trends, competition, and emerging technologies.
- Define User Stories to clearly describe customer needs, ensuring they can be completed within budget.
- Assemble and lead a cross-functional team to manage product delivery, including costs, schedule, risks, contingencies, and expected business results.
- Manage external vendors and their deliverables.
- Work with project teams and end-users to deliver updates and status reports.
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology to enhance customer experience.
- Define success metrics for new projects and track performance of existing products to evaluate effectiveness.
- Review current tool usage and value, and assess the need for new solutions to deliver value at lower costs.
- Research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions for business and technical challenges.
Skills And Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven experience as a Digital Product Owner or similar role.
- Experience in end-to-end customer journeys, including Last Mile and Omni channel features.
- Experience with composable, microservices, and headless architecture.
- Deep knowledge of waterfall, Scrum, and Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of product development architecture.
- Proficiency with analytic tools and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles and strong communication skills, including presentation abilities.
- Ability to work with large teams and diverse stakeholders, including users, developers, and management.
- Understanding of design quality standards.
- Effective leadership and management skills to foster high-performing, engaged teams.
