Position Overview:
We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic IB Core - Theory of Knowledge Teacher to join our dedicated team in August 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about IB Core education and is eager to contribute to the academic success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive Inclusion lessons to high school students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for the theory of knowledge and foster critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Ensure continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
- Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate openly with parents regarding student progress.

Specific qualifications required for this role:
- Teaching Credential/License
Additional requirements for this role:
- A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching IB Core - Theory of Knowledge at the high school level, preferably within an American/IB curriculum school.
- Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and hands-on TOK education.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students.
