Job Description
- Manage financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all transactions related to store inventory and accounting.
- Coordinate procurement activities, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing, enhancing cost-effectiveness and quality of procurement.
- Monitor and track shipments, resolving any discrepancies or delays promptly to maintain supply chain efficiency.
- Conduct regular market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities against organizational needs.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics operations with production schedules and customer requirements.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics and implement improvements to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier interactions, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; certifications like CPA or CMA are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or logistics roles, showcasing a proven track record of successful negotiations.
- Certification in supply chain or logistics management (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is highly desirable to demonstrate expertise.
- Experience in the manufacturing or retail industry, understanding the unique challenges of these sectors.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional language is a plus for international dealings.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights for decision-making.
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems, enhancing efficiency in procurement operations.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain supplier relationships effectively.
