Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Revit Draftsman with at least 7+ years of experience in Dubai to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Revit modeling and drafting for architectural and engineering projects. They will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring compliance with local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Drafting & Modeling

• Develop detailed architectural and engineering drawings using Revit in coordination with the design team.
• Create and update BIM models for various project stages, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design intent.
• Prepare construction documentation, shop drawings, and as-built drawings as per project requirements.
• Ensure proper layering, families, and parametric modeling for efficient project execution.

Coordination & Compliance

• Work closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure smooth design integration.
• Ensure drawings adhere to Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DEWA, and other local authority regulations.
• Coordinate with the BIM team to resolve clashes and improve project efficiency.
• Assist in submissions and approvals from local authorities by preparing required drawings and documentation.

Quality Control & Documentation

• Maintain drawing standards and ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper annotation.
• Conduct self-checks and peer reviews to minimize errors before submissions.
• Update and manage project files, revisions, and drawing logs as required.

Requirements:

• Proven Diploma or certificates.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Revit drafting, with at least 3 years in Dubai.
• Expert proficiency in Revit; good knowledge of AutoCAD. Navisworks, and BIM 360 is a plus.
• Good understanding of BIM processes, standards, and workflows.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and submission processes.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• UAE experience and knowledge of Dubai authority regulations are mandatory.
