Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Facilities Manager fluent in Arabic and English to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure our buildings, infrastructure, and grounds are well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of all facility services including maintenance, cleaning, security, utilities, and space management.
  • Supervise and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Prepare and manage annual facility budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
  • Handle emergencies, repairs, and service disruptions efficiently.
  • Liaise with government and regulatory bodies for inspections and approvals.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and facility documentation.
  • Support office moves, space planning, and renovation projects.
  • Ensure all communication and documentation are effectively handled in both Arabic and English.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
  • Experience with facilities management software (e.g., CMMS) is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of local regulations and building codes.
