Project Manager Mobile Workforce Management (MWFM) Implementation

Location: Abu Dhabi

Position Overview:
A leading utilities provider in the UAE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of a Mobile Workforce Management (MWFM) solution, specifically overseeing the deployment of ServiceMax. Candidates with strong backgrounds in ServiceMax or similar MWFM platforms within the utilities sector will also be considered.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical knowledge, stakeholder management skills, and project delivery expertise to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and integration of the mobile workforce solution across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning & Leadership
    Develop and manage the overall project plan for MWFM implementation.
    Ensure alignment between business needs, vendor capabilities, and IT infrastructure.
    Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and risk mitigation plans.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement
    Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT vendors (including ServiceMax), and external partners.
    Facilitate stakeholder workshops, steering committee updates, and change management communications.
  3. Solution Delivery Oversight
    Oversee the implementation of the MWFM platform, ensuring it meets the functional requirements of field operations and service teams.
    Ensure seamless integration with ERP, CRM, GIS, and asset management platforms (e.g., IBM Maximo, SAP, Oracle, CC&B).
    Manage data migration, system configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support.
  4. Vendor & Team Coordination
    Coordinate efforts between internal teams and external system integrators or ServiceMax consultants.
    Provide direction to business analysts, technical teams, and field operations staff.
  5. Quality & Change Management
    Drive adoption of the solution through effective training and stakeholder engagement.
    Monitor project performance against KPIs and manage change requests as needed.
