Job Responsibilities
- Preparation of standardized tender documents, analysis of received tenders, attending meetings, and preparing reports/recommendations for variation claims and final account reconciliation. Assist in contractor selection.
- Liaise with the spend management team for online bidding of fit-out contracts.
- Create standardized and accurate Al Futtaim Tender packs.
- Provide tender analysis and recommendations prior to online bidding.
- Prepare reports for tender account reconciliation.
- Provide recommendations and identify efficiencies for the "bulk contracting" of store rollouts.
- Carry out all tasks in close coordination with Brand PMs and in compliance with AF Corporate Governance and spend management policies.
- Prepare RFQs for the Procurement team to assist in quotation requests, maintaining AF formatted documentation.
- Assist the Procurement Manager in procurement tracking, ordering, and logistics follow-ups.
- Support project management tasks, such as managing small projects (e.g., store closures) and assisting in project execution.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Formal qualification in Design, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an Interior Design, OS, or Project Management Office environment.
- Proficiency in design, project management, and office software.
- Ability to create accurate standardized tender documentation.
- Commercial awareness in analyzing tenders and variation claims, with knowledge of rates and practices for fit-out contracting in the GCC.
- Ability to manage business relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
