Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Principal Consultant - Digital Transformation to join our management consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading digital transformation projects, particularly in the Roads, Water, or Wastewater Utilities sectors, and a proven track record of improving organizational capability, operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage digital transformation projects to enhance Program Management, asset management, maintenance management, customer service, networks management, information security management, service continuity management, and roads/water resource management.
• Design and implement integrated solutions such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Enterprise Asset Management solutions, SCADA systems, and cloud-based backup solutions.
• Spearhead efforts to address key roads/water resource management challenges by applying advanced digital solutions and services to optimize water distribution, enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, predict maintenance issues, and ensure sustainable water use.
• Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and deploy technology strategies, organizational improvement plans, and iterative development plans.
• Lead cross-functional, international teams to achieve project objectives and improve organizational performance.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to develop organizational capability and sustain improvements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.ENG) or a related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is highly desirable.
• Chartered Engineer (C.ENG) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in digital technology and project management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in leading digital transformation projects in the Roads, Water or Wastewater Utilities sector.
• Strong knowledge of digital solutions and services, including CRM systems, SCADA systems, and cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring teams to develop organizational capability.
• Preferred Experience:
• Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and performance management methodologies.
• Knowledge of international best practices in roads/water resource management and digital transformation.
